HJF is seeking a Program Manager / Evaluator II to oversee a collection of related/integrated projects that together are primarily in support of National Guard Programs, including the Integrated Primary Prevention and Behavioral Health Programs. This position is the primary action officer for program evaluation efforts. This position may strategically guide one or more project coordinators, research assistants, and related technical staff to ensure they are all working effectively toward the program’s stated objectives. Must be able to demonstrate ability to develop, implement, and assess social science program evaluation plans. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Public Health (with an epidemiologic focus) or a related discipline preferred; minimum of 6-8 years of experience required; experience with and knowledge of the National Guard and Department of Defense preferred; demonstrated knowledge and experience in conducting social science/public health program evaluation; familiarity with and knowledge of fundamental principles of project management; prior experience in public health and prevention strongly preferred; must have knowledge of key evaluation principles and measurement; and competency in a variety of data analysis and survey design software programs.
HJF is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to plan, schedule, design, and carry out large and complex programs and projects, primarily for National Guard Programs, including Integrated Primary Prevention and Behavioral Health Programs. Provides expertise in mental health care, programmatic, and scientific management and delivery. Develops and supervises projects and investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential program strategies, products, and problems. Develops new technologies and protocols. Provides weekly status and updated operational efforts reports to program leads. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 9-10 years of relevant experience; significant health and military systems knowledge; thorough knowledge and understanding of DoD organizational structure, community, training requirements, safety requirements, and culture; and significant analytical, organizational, coordination, and negotiation skills.
HJF is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to perform a wide range of administrative/budget duties for the Principal Investigator. Work assignments are complex, with competing deadlines and considerable judgment is required in resolving problems. This position would be in support of National Guard Programs, including the Integrated Primary Prevention and Behavioral Programs. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 3-5 years of relevant program coordinator experience; and previous experience with the military medical system or DoD experience is strongly preferred.

HJF is seeking a Data Analyst/Biostatistician to support the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) within the Department of Psychiatry of the Uniformed Services University (USU). This position is located at the Rockledge Office in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to CSTS. US Citizenship is required for this position.
The Center’s work addresses a wide scope of trauma and disaster exposure and their outcomes, including post traumatic stress disorder, suicide, depression, and grief. The Center works in a public health framework and has substantial “big data” projects. Responsibilities are to provide biostatistical support for clinical and/or laboratory research. This involves performing statistical analysis on data collected from clinical trials and/or research studies.
